Mexico Altura Coffee is sourced from the southern states of Oaxaca and Chiapas, Mexico, where there are mountain ranges that provide higher altitudes and ideal climates for cultivating coffee. The vast majority of farms are family-owned with less than 10 hectares of land. The coffee harvest typically begins in October and ends in March.   After multiple hard harvest seasons battling  “coffee rust” or La Roya as it is called locally, Mexico is starting to bounce back and once again releasing some of the smoothest, most pleasant coffees you can find in Central America.

This particular offering comes with a smooth, almost creamy body and notes of chocolate and caramel. A true classic cup of coffee that plays as well as a morning cup as it does after an evening meal. We have even incorporated it into our house espresso blend to lend an extra level of flavor and smoothness.

There’s nothing better than fresh coffee - that’s why we only roast when you order, and ship the same day. Most coffee arrives in 2-3 days right at the peak of freshness!
